Review Process

All submissions undergo double-blind peer review. Manuscripts are evaluated by a minimum of two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant field. Editorial decisions are based on scientific validity, originality, and significance. Initial decisions are typically provided within 4-6 weeks of submission.

All manuscripts are screened for plagiarism and AI-generated content.

Open Access

NeuScience is a gold open-access journal. All published articles are freely available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) license. Authors retain copyright.

Article processing charges are waived for submissions accepted through December 2026.

Indexing

NeuScience is indexed in Crossref, Google Scholar, Semantic Scholar, and Dimensions. Applications are under review for DOAJ, ROAD, OpenAIRE, EBSCO, and ProQuest. The journal is pursuing inclusion in Scopus, PubMed, EMBASE, and Web of Science.

Author Services

The journal offers language editing and translation support for authors who require assistance. Manuscripts may be submitted following prior posting on preprint servers. There are no page limits or charges for color figures.
