NeuScience is committed to the long-term preservation and permanent accessibility of all published content. We employ multiple archiving strategies to ensure research remains available in perpetuity.
Digital Preservation Strategy
Published content is preserved through multiple independent systems:

What is Preserved?
- Full-text articles (PDF and HTML versions)
- Supplementary materials and data files
- Article metadata and bibliographic information
- DOIs and permanent identifiers
- Issue structure and journal organization
- Author and citation information
Author Self-Archiving
Authors are encouraged and permitted to archive their work in:
- Institutional Repositories: University or organization archives
- Subject Repositories: Discipline-specific archives (e.g., PubMed Central, arXiv, bioRxiv)
- Personal Websites: Author's own professional website
- Research Networks: ResearchGate, Academia.edu, etc.
Self-Archiving Guidelines
- You may archive the final published PDF immediately upon publication
- Include the full citation and DOI link
- Credit NeuScience as the original publisher
Continuity Commitment
In the unlikely event of journal discontinuation:
- All content will remain accessible through our archiving partners
- DOIs will continue to resolve to archived versions
- Metadata will be preserved in bibliographic databases
- Authors and readers will be notified of any changes
